Google will introduce new features for Search, Maps and Lens, as demonstrated at an event in France.
Features for Search
The company’s management, represented by Vice President Raghavan, has revealed that generative Artificial Intelligence will be used to systematize information from the internet.
For example, there is already a NORA app, which is a search function to find answers to questions for which there are several different opinions.
The app will be launched shortly, and for demonstration purposes a question was asked about the best way to find constellations when observing the starry sky. The AI provided several ways to identify constellations.

The Google Vice President noted that such Artificial Intelligence capabilities would organize information from different sources at once in the search results. In this way, the user will be able to get the main point in a short period of time, and then continue studying the issue in a more substantive way.
In addition, generative AI will be able to make 3D models of objects from several photos from different angles.
Development for Google Maps
The following innovation has been developed for the Google Maps application, which presents a 3D model of various cities of our planet created with the help of thousands of photos. Locations, individual buildings are recreated with maximum precision, and the history of the site and how it has changed over time is also shown. Immersive View is already available in metropolitan areas such as London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Tokyo.
Other major cities such as Sydney and European cities such as Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Vienna, etc. will be available afterwards.
The AR navigation in the main buildings of these cities is designed to help travelers better navigate in airports, railway stations, major museums, shopping centers, etc.

Updated functions for Google Lens
Google Lens is an app that has fully replaced the Google Glasses app. The app recognises an object, focuses on it and then suggests places where the object or its equivalent can be purchased, or simply finds it on Google.

In addition the app can recognise plants, save important dates and phone numbers.
The app can also recognise plants, store phone numbers and dates and provide information on nearby places of interest.
Introduced the “Multi-Search Near Me” option, which is currently only available in the US.
Multi-Search, which allows you to search an object in text and photo at the same time, is available in all countries, making it much easier to find an object if there is no way to express a textual query.
