Cardano’s new NFT project will create a sci-fi game called Roguelike (Ultimate Sci-fi Roguelike-MMO), controlled by the Rogue Galaxies community.
Rogue Galaxies is a sci-fi MMORPG game where users can travel through space and search for the ultimate source of Stygian Light, while solving puzzles caused by the Overlap.
The game’s plot
The action takes place in the distant future, after Earth, when humans have evacuated to different planets and evolved according to their location and surroundings.
There are three sectors of the Milky Way galaxy, run by the major governments of Sukhashan, Perseus and the Merum Line.
The Milky Way Galaxy, with its abundance and diversity of planets, begins to encounter mysterious disappearances and reappearances of planets or parts of planets, moons covered in eternal snow, cities full of huge crystalline rocks, huge lakes of molten rock. Stars in the Galaxy can also appear completely unexpectedly in a matter of seconds.
Many forces of this universe will stand in your way, danger and risk lurk everywhere, and the heated conflict between factions only escalates.
You will improve your skills and your resources will increase, but no one has been prepared for the legions surging from behind the Overlaps. Legions of humanoids flooded the universe. They have their own way and their own war.
In Rogue Galaxies you will be able to traverse the vastness of space in your NFT ship, develop your character and explore multiple planets.
Community Development and Involvement
It is envisaged that the community will create the story of the game. To this end, a modular release is launched which will take into account the wishes of the community and to develop the game in the given direction. Further modules will be launched:
Module 1:Space – Q3 2023.
Space travel, mission execution and roguelike action.
Module 2: Planets.
Players will be able to land on planets and complete tours with varying levels of difficulty, and it’s up to you to decide whether it’s a resounding victory or a dismal defeat.
Module 3: Social Networking
This module will be designed to improve social communication between the community members.
Cardano and the coining of the NFT
The creators of the game consider Cardano to be the best ecosystem, and the project that everyone started with, called NMKR, to be the greenest and safest blockchain with a great community.
The first coining of NFT took place on December 9, 2022. On that day, 1,000 of the first 3,000 NFT Genesis Spaceships were open for purchase.
Spaceships cost 350 ADA each plus there was a Season Pass: Genesis giveaway.
The next minting of the 3k Genesis collection is planned for 15 February 2023. The remaining 2,000 ships will be available for purchase.
As with the previous sale, there will also be a Season Pass: Genesis, for user access to select purchases.
This will also include a discount at the same price as last time, for those who purchase a ship + season pass.
The NFT ship in the next gen game has every opportunity to develop and improve.
A season pass gives you access to the gamification of the web site. Increasing their level will allow you to unlock more NFTs and use them in the game.
